This campaign was more than just a series of videos. We used Punxsutawney Phil himself as part of our activation. It was all up to him. If he didn’t see his shadow, and spring was around the corner, we’d give away free Sam Adams Cold Snap. But if his shadow made an appearance, people would be s#!t out of luck.

Look ma, I’m on the news!

We’ll not me exactly. But everyones favorite Cousin From Boston was at the event and got interviewed by eveyone’s favorite news channel… THE WEATHER CHANNEL!

BRING IT BACK!

The activation was such a success, that The Punxsutawney Groundhog Club wanted to partner with Sam Adams for an additional 3 years. Allowing Sam Adams to continue to be the Official Beer of Groundhogs day.
